Card 17 part 1 — The Library before the war, some books and a chance to read the paper.

Card 17 part 2 — **The upper image:** The Library was re-branded the Martial Rose Library in 1984 on Principal Rose’s retirement. **The lower image:** The Library extension of c 2000 by Feilden Clegg Bradley won an RIBA design Award, setting new standard for academic buildings on the campus.

With the arrival of the University Centre in 2005 further facilities became available, especially the Learning Cafe on the top floor, near Reception and the Board Room.
