The Link Gallery hosts a varied programme of exhibitions throughout the year and is open to the public free of charge.

Since its opening in 2001 the Link Gallery has held a continual programme of exhibitions by a wide variety of established and emerging local and regional artists, including solo and group shows, community projects and annual exhibitions. Admittance is free of charge and the gallery is open to the public all year round.

The Link Gallery is in the West Downs Centre, in a space that was created as a result of the transformation of the West Downs Preparatory School into the West Downs Performing Arts and Conference Centre, which was opened by Lord Putnam in 2001. With the recent development of a purpose-built Arts Centre on the King Alfred Campus, West Downs has now become home to the University of Winchesters Business School.
