This is a photographic series that provides insight into the lives of the people the artist met on a motorcycling journey across the Sahara and through West, Central and East Africa.
He would ask one person each day to stand for him, using a white sheet to highlight the subject against a background of the colour and character of everyday African life.
He would ask each person a question:
“Is there one thing that could make your life better?”
The answers in the photographs here are: Education, Water-the well is dry and To develop this school.
In an interview, Paul described his experiences during this project and what inspired him to start it.
