Sketches for the glass mural

This is a three storey glass mural made up of 156 panels of screen printed enamelled glass, inside the Martial Rose Library.

Influences on the design included the City of Winchester, King Alfred’s Jewel and the illustrations from the Winchester Bible.

The artist has a studio in Marlborough, Wiltshire. She specializes in painting, sandblasting and firing glass panels (up to two metres long). She also works with factories to produce her designs in the following mediums: glass, acrylic, vinyl, paper and fabric.

She works on commission and her projects take her into old and new buildings all over the British Isles.
